Micron Announces a Distribution Agreement for a Software as a Medical Device in Taiwan

Micron, Inc. (Head Office: Tokyo, President: Michita Sato), which provides support services for medical imaging technology and clinical trials, is pleased to announce that it has signed the first distributor agreement outside of Japan for its brain imaging analysis software, PMAneo, with Getz Bros & Co. (BVI), Inc., Taiwan Branch (Taiwan Headquarters: Zhongshan District, Taipei City Managing Director: Sting Wu et seq., Getz Taiwan).
Under this Agreement, Getz Taiwan will distribute PMAneo in Taiwan and will prepare for an early launch. In recent years, as well as in Taiwan, there have been many efforts to automatically process image data, calculate quantitative values, and utilize these values as indicators (imaging biomarkers) of clinical conditions and therapeutic effects, and we have already received requests from several doctors. PMAeno will be distributed to medical institutions in all regions of Taiwan through Getz Taiwan.
